A fun way to get across the river, especially on a motorcycle though it doesn't operate when the rivers floods, which is a regular thing with the Mississippi, Missouri, and Illinois rivers here. Check operating times as they change with the seasons. Weekends during the day are usually fine.

It's good at what it does, taking your car from one side of the river to the other. Luck factors into any rating, since timing is everything - if you "just missed it", it's a 10 minute wait . . .

Nice workers but it's very expensive to get on $8 one way. We live in the neighborhood right there and we spend a couple hundred a week just to get around it's rediculous

My husband and I paid for the ferry ride with a check on 5/14/20 and 5/15/20 we were robbed. money was fraudulently taken out of our bank account. I've never used a check before this ,we didn't have cash with us and I had a check in case of emergency. so far $15000 around was robbed off us paying an e discover card ,I'm guessing to get cash out ,now we are around -$4000 in the hole.

I know it cost to operate the ferry but I thought the pricing was a little high we'll take a different route next time...

$15 for round trip and $8 for one way. We went to Kinders via the Golden Eagle Ferry. Great experience, I definitely recommend this ferry. No complaints.

Great for a nice summer motorcycle ride to take a break and be on the water for a few minutes. Costs 5 bucks for motorcycle,and I think 10 for cars/trucks.

This is a good way to get to Illinois from Missouri or vise versa, without having to get out of your car. Of course you can get out of your car for a few minutes to take in the scenery of the Mississippi River!
